Newb here....
I picked up this 1978 Magnum XE with 29,210 original miles a couple years ago. I always liked since I went for a wild ride in new one when I was 12. It has just over 30k on it now.

Too bad it's 360 2-barrel lean burn. I'll have to eliminate that... It's kind of a shame since it is so original, but I bought it to enjoy it.

I've owned many Mopars over the years, I wish I still had my '71 'Cuda...

I'm hoping to be able to have this car ready for some real driving next summer.

RE: Newb here....
Thanks for the warm welcome and the compliments on my Magnum. I'm a disabled ex-mopar master tech and I bought it to help keep me busy and out of trouble.

I see some of you are rocking the new Challengers, I wish I could afford one since they are a blast.

The Magnum will have to do though, motor mods start this winter. Hopefully I'll have different wheels too.

RE: Newb here....
Welcome and nice ride. If you are into making it run better, pull all that lean burn crap off and go more back to basics. You can still keep it if you ever want to put it back on.

You can color the lean burn gone, it needs more power.

This is going to be a driver so there will be changes. built engine, trans ,3.55 sure grip, dual exhaust, wheels and more.
