RE: which vendor for a cam
Nice HEMI2NV on not backing out of your build like several others have, because of the long wait.

I recently bought several parts from Josh at HHP.
I had Great customer service, Great Prices and everything was delivered on time as quoted.

I would just talk to all and see what they recommend and have them quote for your needs.

Talk to AJ or Eric, tell them what you are looking for and I'm sure they will steer you in the right direction.

RE: which vendor for a cam
Ryan, just make sure you convey your goals and expectations to your vendor of choice. Bigger cams can be notorious to tune on these cars, not that they can't, but it can take some work to get them right. Of course tuning has come a long way since my first cam swap in 09 so I'm sure it's less arduous now.

RE: which vendor for a cam
^^^but to Chuck's point....it is not plug and play. You will need to get involved in the tuning process and be able to log stuff and explain what you see. It is critical to your satisfaction with the build.

RE: which vendor for a cam
I was wondering what Ryan has installed already in his car to want Heads and Cam to help with his need for speed?

What ET is the ultimate Goal. The recomendations could be different talking to one installer to another.

Isn't Ryan close to Eric?

This is an pretty easy job for Eric to do. I've seen him post up his work on the forums and his time is usually pretty quick to get installs done.

At the track, I've always seen Eric to be helpful to his everyone customer or not!

Depending on who you want to tune your car AJ or Ost.
I saw where AJ will be traveling out to Eric's shop and a group could save money by being there together, as it's a 1 time expense for AJ.
Also Eric deals with HHP for parts.
But I would buy direct as, DE is a tax free state and then have the parts shipped to Eric.

RE: which vendor for a cam
Talked to Erik this AM. He is going to handle the install and Mike OST is going to tune. I have a 392 Getrag and a Mopar TCM at the moment. Adding mean street heads and appropriate cam, ARH long tubes and cat less mids. There really is no specific HP or ET number I want. It is a daily driver that I want to add more power and some thump with the cam. Been busy at work today but need to talk to the vendors directly next.
