RE: ESP problem
Bad speed sensor, need to determine which one. Looking around, it seems to be kinda common.

RE: ESP problem
For my merc is was fairly expensive as well. They replaced all 4 at once instead of troubleshooting which one was the issue.

RE: ESP problem
Luckily Miss Lisa, the sensors for the Challengers are fairly cheap and are available aftermarket as well. Now that it's put back up, lawd knows when it'll be fixed.

RE: ESP problem
I had my lights pop on again today while turning left onto the highway. Checked the code via the key trick once I got home(thanks for the reminder Sean), and it read P0503..looks to be another case of a bad wheel speed sensor.

RE: ESP problem
Glad ah didn't go and buy the clockspring/SAS right away. Found a last ditch fix on Chargerforumz which entails loosening a T30 screw in the steering column cover behind the steering wheel at say....the 5 o'clock position. The Steering Column Control Module is there. Loosened the screw 4 turns, then gently pulled the sleeve towards me and it came forward 1/16-1/8 inch and I tightened it down. Drove the car home Friday it went off and has stayed off (fingers crossed). There was a STAR case on LX's on this which required measuring the steering shaft protrusion, yada yada and this was the first thing they wanted the tech to attempt towards the fix.

RE: ESP problem
Problem still hasn't recurred but on the way home car went into limp mode. Ah upshifted as the trans was trying to automatically downshift, no gears and limited RPM's. Put in it neutral, killed it then restarted, (going downhill on a bridge Laugh) all was well. CEL came up but no codes stored. Went into Predator and cleared codes anyway and light went away. This car ah swear..........
