Mr Norms WOT box
So with 15psi of boost this car melts the tires in 1rst, 2nd, and 3rd gear at any speed at 1/4 throttle. Car is an absolute bitch to drive. What are you guys doing with PD blowers and high boost? Have not spent a lot of time with Joel on this part of the tune but not sure you can do a lot to resolve with a tune only.
Anyone use this Mr Norms WOT box?

RE: Mr Norms WOT box
Only people with bad tunes and Maggie's had those issues. Seems like several kb people were using the box, but find it hard to believe it can't be tuned out? Should tradition to boost the same 6# or 15

RE: Mr Norms WOT box
The transition is the same but 6psi coming on and 15psi coming on feel totally different.

RE: Mr Norms WOT box
Mine transitioned smoothly, tires did not break loose unless I just floored it all at once. If I drove normally letting RPMs rise slowly between shifts I had no issues.

RE: Mr Norms WOT box
I can do that as well but it takes a lot of finesse. I will have to invest in a set of drag radials because with street tires and a slow roll I will lose to a Prius. Laugh

No comparison between a Maggie and a KB. KBs are much more violent. I know Lewis could never get it tuned out. Only way I see that maybe possible is to have a greater CI engine. Small engine with a massive shot of boost is always going to produce the light switch

RE: Mr Norms WOT box
Mike at KB will send me a different spring for the bypass valve. Might cost some midrange but might as well give it a try.

I agree never heard of a smooth one, but I never knew if any one really tried to tune one? You do not hear of many people running them any more and adam was about the only real guy tuning them way back when.

RE: Mr Norms WOT box
Craig AJ has some kind of new box to either lower or eliminate boost while daily driving.

RE: Mr Norms WOT box
I found a guy with a Mr Norms WOT he will sell. Joel wants me to wait. He wants to tune it out. We will see how that goes. Might as well give AJ a call as well to understand his solution. Thx Phil
