RE: Update: 8lb. SC Tuned @ API
2.291 - 60ft time
Spinning hard off the line at 1/3 throttle, then engine bogs when shifting to 2nd gear. From 2nd gear on it pulls real hard.
Running a 3.0" pulley on Magnuson pushing close to 12lbs (11.6). A/F Ratio low 11's with 0 ST KNK.
Need some slicks to get 60 time down and stall to get in power range quicker.
Thanks to AJ for tuning my combo and bringing this thing to life. Some seat time and better tires will definitely yield some better times.

Yeeeeeeah. Drag radials or slicks. With DR's I'm consistently at 1.8 60's. Working on a new tune now, so hopefully soon I'll see what mine will do.

Yea if I had 1.8 60's and no bog into 2nd probably a very low 11 second 1/4.

Good luck to you, keep us posted. I definitely want to know how you do.

Thanks

Testing a new VVT tune....apparently a lot has been learned about how far they can advance the cam safely. Not sure what else there is to gain, but smoother power through the rpm range would be nice. Will keep everyone posted

Hey Sean, who is tuning your car? I decided to work with Jerseyboy for the tune on my new stroker. He only lives 30 miles from my house and has access to a chassis dyno.

Sorry I've been absent I've been laying pretty low. Thanks to everyone for the support. I really want to thank Stewart for sticking with API. He has invested a lot of time and effort into this and even when trying tuning outside of API he was always straight about it. The GPEC is a different animal,Matt , Dave and myself have really been digging at this stuff hard. We are all about seeing our customers succeed and Stewart has been a great partner.
Thanks again!
AJ

Mike @OST is doing the tuning. Joel was going to do it, but he went AWOL on me right about the time everything was being installed. Laugh

Good to see you back AJ!
