DUMB Question but where is the fuse Box Located???
I have a'78 XS22J8R (E56) that I am trying to get started.......
Thanks, Chris

Under the dash on the drivers side.

Thanks.
I connected a battery to both terminals. Could there be Any other reason besides fuses why there are no ignition light or any other "signs of life" on the car?
It has been sitting outside and some critters gotunder the hood and made themselves comfortable. What should I check i n terms of importance?
Engine does turn over by hand.
I really want to get this car back to life.
Thanks in advance.

Wiring!
Sounds like you may need a new wiring harness? If so, here is a link
to a person on eBay that may have it. Please Register or Login to view links.
They range between $25-$55 for the headlight harness'.
Hope this helps!

Late B body score!

Wish I still had the black GT here. It had all good harness that I let go with what
was left of it. I parted it out and sent the rest to the scrap yard.
[The Black 79 Magnum GT E58 in my signature at the bottom of my posts.]

Yep, that one!

I will try to fix at least the wires I see disconnected. Problem, had squirrels or mice under hood, they didn't tell me what they chewed on..........

You may need the whole harness? I was just giving you a close price of what I saw
he had. You're going to have to check each wire with a meter to find out which
need fixing or replacing.
Question, where do you live [State] maybe I can find someone close to help you or
someone who may have the parts you need to get your Magnum up and running?
You can PM me if you do not want to post your location.

I kinda guessed you'd be in California by the Magnum you have.[XS22J8R] Big Grin
The "J" engine was mostly used in California. You also should have a N95 code on your fender tag.
Not sure of anybody in Calif. Try Please Register or Login to view links.
A lot of good guys there! Look in the "1975-1979 Mopars" forum

Also try: [ This number and email are old but hopfully still work ]
Andre at 913-269-8062 or email andre_leroux_gibson@yahoo.com
This man is about as nice as you get, he is located in Kansas, MO, and he has many
Magnums and parts. Tell him I sent you. Cool

Remember that many Cordoba parts will fit your Magnum including the wiring
harness', and might be cheaper?!

Thanks for all the info.
I somehow missed your response email.
Yes, N95 - what does that mean?
I will follow up with these guys.
Also, DO you have a wiring schematic some where or where would I find that?
I also have a '67 Barracuda that has a similar problem ++ the carb is filled with roden stuff.
How would I identify the car given that it has edelbrock and other aftermarket add ons.

Thanks, Chris
