I'm so glad more folks are doing stuff like this. I have nothing against the 1/4 mile, but for the longest time that was the only game in town, seemed like. I always wanted to do more than just accelorate, and only for 1320 at that.

The Colonel remembers once going past the 1/4 mile mark, it's a whole new ballgame. Good thing the devil dawg is on the heavy side, ah could not imagine what a Fox body would be like at those speeds or higher!

Once you run a Mile event, your hooked! Drag racing was always my #1 motorsport, never thought about running land speed stuff until I went to the Tx Mile one weekend to watch and I was back at the next race running my car.

Me thinks October is gonna see a pinque vajayjay going down the mile. Was going to do it in March, but I just can't get resolve the date conflict.
