RE: devil dawg at the Texas Mile
As I told Sean, Something nice about Beeville being out in the middle of nowhere. If the event is close to the big city. I fear it'll be overrun with Lambos and other city dwelling exotic and garage queen Corvette who's owners are afraid to go 100 miles to run. I like the mix at the mile with a bunch of good ole boys, with just enough of the exotic stuff to keep it interesting.

Something just very cool about a bunch of speed freaks congregating out in the middle of nowhere to run!

This.

Also, when the air isn't being broken by the sound of a 1000 hp motor, it's actually very serene out there, too.

I'm jealous, y'all. When my car is road worthy, I'm headin' to Texas!

But speaking of the R-word, are roll cages, onboard extinguishers, etc., mandatory...and for what classes?
