RE: dash panels
Black and red is the coolest color scheme, all the cool kids know.
I havent swapped the console in. Moving a floor shifter to a car that didnt have one before is going to take longer.

Taken in traffic on the way home from work. The sky is that color 90% of the year.
I think it makes it a little more sporty and fun to drive. I know my steering wheel looks like ass.
Something about working on other people's cars all day leaves plenty of slack when it comes to mine Tongue.
I did spent some days after work sanding and painting the lower dash, formerly wood grain. SEM plastic paint. Gotta make sure the surface is super clean though.

Some good looking dashes you guys got there! you did these your selves?

Magnum GT from the forums here sold me the dash i have now, he made it. he also covered my center console insert with the same material and sent it back to me.
I sanded and painted the wood grain lower dash. Fake wood is so ugly, even un faded.

RE: dash panels
I painted mine with hammer-tone copper. I thought the color was too rosy so gave it some patina with an airbrush and model paint.[Image: Copy3ofcordoba014.jpg]
